Poplarville Fire Department Fire Prevention Presentation PLE October 11th

Members of the Poplarville Fire Department visited PLE October 11th in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week October 6 – 12th.

The firemen shared a video on causes of fires and what children need to do in case of fire.

Fire equipment and fire fighting gear was shown and explained to the students.

Students got to view a firetruck and learned how the fire gear, tools, and hoses work.

Afterwards, students were given an informational booklet full of info, games, and color pages for them to take home and share with their family.
