Athletic Update: 3/28-4/2/22
Baseball:

The Hornet baseball team competed against Lawrence County on the 25th at the nest Friday night. They ended up dominating with a score of 18-0. Monday, March 21st, 2022 the Hornets also competed against Lawrence county again with a winning score of 13-10. The Hornets will play an away game on March 29, 2022, at Purvis, against the Tornadoes. JV will start at 4:30 pm, and Varsity at 6:00 pm . They will play Purvis again at the nest Apr 1, 2022: JV at 5:00 pm, and Varsity at 7:00 pm. On Apr 2, 2022 the Hornets will battle against North Pike, at the Nest: JV at 12:00 pm, and Varsity at 2:00 pm. 

Softball:

The Lady Hornets Softball team defeated Columbia on March 21,2022, with a winning score of 15-1. They also played against Lawrence County on March 24, 2022, with a score of 6-7.The action continues with two games this week. The first game on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, will be held here at the nest against Sumrall. The other game for the week will be on Thursday, March 31,2022, against Purvis here at home. Both games will be played at the same time with the JV starting at 5pm and Varsity at 6:30pm. 

Tennis: 

The Hornet Tennis team will play at Stone, against the Tomcats, on Mar 28, 2022, matches start at 4:00 pm. Then Mar 29, 2022 the Hornets will play in a District tournament, at Stone.
