Career Expo

On November 20, 2014 the students at Middle School of Poplarville attended the Career Expo PATHWAYS2POSSIBILITES, P2P, in Biloxi, MS. Over six thousand eighth graders had the opportunity to attend this inspirational program. The students were able to explore many of the careers available in this region, so that they can begin to take the first steps in planning their future.

There were 19 career pathways for students to engage the students in hands-on work experiences. Some of the career activities included masonry, architecture and construction, engineering/polymer science, aerospace, marketing, cosmetology, and many more.

The field trip was a rewarding and motivating experience for the students and teachers.
