Athletic Update 3/1-5/22
Baseball:

The Hornets played on February 22, 2022, February 25, 2022, February 26, 2022, and on Mar 1, 2022. On February 22, 2022, we played Bay High at the Nest with an ending score of 9-5. Also, Feb 25, 2022 They played at Bay High, the Hornets dominated the field with a score of 18-0. On Feb 26, 2022 We played against Pass Christian at the Hornets Nest with a winning score of 2-1. On March 1, 2022, the Hornets claimed yet another victory of 13-7 against Perry Central.

The action does not stop there as they will play again on March 3, 2022, in a tournament competing with two other schools here at the nest. The first one will be Pine vs. Bay High at 5pm and the second will be Pine vs. Poplarville at 7pm. On top of that there will be a second tournament this weekend on Saturday, March 5, 2022, competing against 3 other schools all here at home. The first game will be between Bay High and Perry Central at 1pm, the second will be Pine vs. Perry Central at 3pm, and finally the third will be Pine La vs. Poplarville at 5pm.

Softball:

The Lady Hornet Softball team played against Stone county on February 24th, 2022 at Stone County High School. The Lady Hornets won with a score of 10-3. Way to go Lady Hornets! The Hornet Softball team also competed against Hancock County on March 1st 2022. The final ending score was 1-7. The Lady Hornets competed against Hancock County on the 22nd, no score was provided.

The Lady Hornets will compete against Bay High School at 6:30 PM on March 3rd 2022, this game will be played at Bay High School. Following up, there will be a PRCC tournament game on March 5th, 2022, game time starts at 2:00 PM for varsity and 10:00 for JV. Come and support the Lady Hornet Softball team!

Tennis:

The Hornets Tennis team will play on March 4, 2022, at Moss Point, at 4:00 pm.
