School Closure Wednesday for Tropical Storm Gordon

The Poplarville School District will be closed Wednesday, September 5th due to Tropical Storm Gordon. Classes will resume on Thursday as normal unless stated here on this website. Please check this page for official information.

We will be closing early at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 4th.

On Tuesday, the buses will begin loading at Poplarville Lower Elementary and Poplarville Upper Elementary at 12:45 pm. Buses will load at Poplarville High School and the Middle School of Poplarville at 1:00 pm and 1:15 pm respectively. Car and town students will begin to be picked up as soon as the buses leave PLE and PUE campuses. PHS and MSP car and town students will be released at 12:50 pm.
