Poplarville School District currently uses SPI as our way of paying both of these services currently. This is our preferred method, but we are flexible in this area.
When is the deadline for having services running? Is there any flexibility in the date?
The service must be tested and ready no later than start of business on July 1st, 2017. There is no flexibility in this date as our current service contract would have expired.
Is using the state network for internet service an option?
No, Poplarville is not currently seeking a connection to the State provided network/internet service. Our direct connection to the internet has proven to be more reliable for our District.
What scope of public IP range will you need if any?
Poplarville currently has a /27 subnet and is not seeking anything larger nor do we want a smaller range.
Are you interested in IPv6?
Our current infrastructure is not ready for IPv6 at this time. While IPv4 is mandatory, we are not looking for any external or internal IPv6 services.
