PHS Varsity Football begins District Games

The Hornets’ varsity football team will be back in action Friday, September 30th at Greene County High School beginning at 7:00 p.m.  The team is rested, but fired-up and ready to play since having a two week break due to a rain-out and off week.  However, they haven’t had a break from practice, and have been working hard in the weight room and on the practice field preparing for the first district game of the season.  Greene County will be the first of five consecutive District 4A games that are coming up.  Everyone come out and support the Hornets!

Address to Greene County Stadium: 4336 High School Rd, Leakesville, MS 39451.

Check out the video of Poplarville High School varsity football practice, complete with interviews with the coaches and players.  The video was put together by McKinsy Harris, a PHS graduate.  She will add new players each week and feature game footage, so stay tuned!  Check out the Hometown Hype Facebook page for upcoming videos.
