Lady Hornets Remain Undefeated

The Lady Hornets’ victory over the  Columbia Wildcats  Monday night brought their record to 7-0, 1-0 in the District.

With a score of 13-1, the Lady Hornets dominated the game on offense and defense.  They began the first inning with 6 runs, and kept the same momentum throughout the game.  Senior Jordan Billiot pitched a near perfect game.  She struck out 9 batters and only allowed 4 hits with 1 resulting in a run.

Seniors Kimberly Lambert, Caylen Beall and Sophomore Paige Benjamin each had a 1,000 batting average for the night.

Come watch the Lady Hornets play Picayune at the Hive Thursday, March 17th.  This is what the girls call a “Pride Game”.
