Art Awards

Four Poplarville High School Art 1 Students received awards for their artworks in the Wild Things Art Contest which was part of the Southeast Louisiana National Wildlife Refugee Week Festival held in Lacombe LA on October 17th, 2015.

 
Each student had to create a drawing that represented an animal or habitat native to Southeast Louisiana. Students participated with their age categories with over 100 other students. 
 
In Drawing for ages 15-16
Tanner Miley received 3rd Place
Haley Shoemake received honorable mention
Shelby Ladner received honorable mention 
 
In Drawing for ages 17-18
Cole Dedeaux received Honorable mention
