PLE Special Hands-On Learning

Mrs. Whitney and Ms. Anna’s kindergarten class had such a special hands-on learning experience exploring the life cycles of butterflies and chicks!

Students built the life cycles, watched caterpillars grow into butterflies, and even released them once they were ready. We also had the amazing opportunity to hatch chicks in our classroom thanks to a student’s grandmother who donated eggs and an incubator. Our students loved watching the chicks hatch, caring for them, and observing them grow throughout the week. Such a fun and meaningful way to bring science to life for our little learners!
