Bailee Holmes Signs with Pearl River Community College for Fine Arts Service Scholarship

Poplarville High School senior Bailee Holmes has officially taken the next step in her musical journey, signing a Fine Arts Service Scholarship with Pearl River Community College on Wednesday, April 15.

Bailee, a dedicated member of the Poplarville Choral Department for the past seven years, has made a lasting impact through her commitment, talent, and leadership. She is also a proud member of the award-winning a cappella group Shades of Gold, which has earned recognition for its outstanding performances and competitive success.

The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Bailee’s family and friends, celebrating both her achievements and the bright future ahead. Also in attendance was Ladona Tyson, choral director at Pearl River Community College, who welcomed Holmes into the program.

Holmes’s passion for music and dedication to excellence have been evident throughout her time at Poplarville. Her continued pursuit of the arts at the collegiate level is a testament to her hard work and the strong foundation she has built over the years.

As she begins this exciting new chapter, Bailee carries with her the support of her school, her community, and the many lives she has touched through music.
