Exciting things are happening in the Poplarville School District Choral Department!
The PHS Shades of Gold and the MSP a cappella group Harmonix competed in the Petal Invitational on February 20. Shades of Gold brought home a third place finish while Harmonix brought home a first place trophy!
Shades of Gold also won a third place finish at the Magnolia Classic on February 28 and won Best Overall Opener for “Mama’s Broken Heart”!
In addition, PHS Gold Tones choir and Shades of Gold a cappella group had the privilege of performing for students at PLE, PUE and PHS last week. They enjoyed being able to share their talents with students across the district.
Shades of Gold will represent PHS in the ICHSA Quarter Finals in Gulfport on Friday, March 6. They are so excited to compete in this prestigious event!
