PHS Student Council Attends State Conference

PHS Student Council Receives Awards at State Conference

The PHS Student Council attended the Mississippi State Association of Student Councils’ annual state conference this past weekend at Pearl High School. They listened to guest speakers discuss leadership, participated in group team-building activities, and completed a service project by making dog toys for the local animal shelter. The group also received two top state awards. Lendy Crider received the MSASC State Student Council Member of the Year Award and Sammi Vaughan received the MSASC State Student Council President of the Year Award. Any current high school student who is interested in joining the student council for next school year, please check your school email for the application and more details. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, April 26th.
