Athletic Update 3/27-31/23

Baseball:

The March 21st game against the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies resulted in a winning score of 5-1.On March 24th, the game against the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies also ended in a victorious score of 5-1. On March 28th the Hornets will take on the Purvis Tornadoes at the Hive at 7:00 p.m. There will also be a game on March 31st where the boys will go head-to-head again against the Purvis Tornadoes, this time at Purvis High School at 6: 30 p.m. A non-league game will be held on April 1st at the Hive at 1:00 p.m. against the Collins Tigers. Come out to support your Hornets!

Softball: 

On Tuesday, March 21st, the Lady Hornets defeated Purvis 12-4. March 23rd, we played Forrest County. On March 28th, we will travel to Monticello to play against Lawrence County at 5:00 PM. March 30th, there will be a home game at 6:30 PM against Sumrall. We hope to see you there!

Tennis:

Monday 20, 2023, the PHS tennis team played against the Pass Christian Pirates. Thursday, March 23, 2023, the Hornets went up against the Bay High Tigers. This week Monday, March 27, 2023, the Hornets will travel to play against the Stone Bobcats starting at 4:00 pm. Thursday March 30, 2023 the Hornets will participate in the district tournament at Stone time TBD. 

Archery: 

Last week Monday, March 20, 2023 the PHS archery team went up against Heritage Christian Academy. Thursday March 23, 2023 the Hornets played the Picayune Maroon Wave. This week Thursday March 30, 2023 the PHS archery team has qualified for and will be traveling to South State starting at 9:00 am.
