Sports Report

Athletic Update 3/6-11/23

Softball:

On Tuesday, February 28th, the Lady Hornets defeated Harrison Central with a final score of 3-2. Thursday, March 2nd, we defeated Stone with a final score of 6-4. Friday, March 3rd, we played against Hancock and ended with a score of 0-10. 

On Monday, March 6th, we will go against George County for a home game at 6:30 PM. Tuesday, March 7th, we will travel to Columbia High School to play Columbia at 6:30 PM. On Thursday, March 9th, we will travel to Purvis High School to play them at 6:30 PM. Good luck girls!

Baseball: 

On February 28th the Hornets took on the Pope John Paul II Jaguars. The March 3rd game against Wayne County and won the match with a score of 8-3. The March 4th game against Perry Central resulted in a tie. On March 7 the Hornets will play Pope John Paul II Jaguars in Slidell, Louisiana at 6:30 p.m. On March 11th the boys will take on the Gulfport at Gulfport High School at 1:00 p.m.

Tennis: 

This week the PHS tennis team will have two matches. Tuesday March 7, 2023 against the FCAHS Aggies at the Hive starting at 4:15 PM. Thursday March 9, 2023 the Hornets will play against Moss Point at the Nest starting at 5:00 pm. Come and support our Hornets! 

Archery:

This Tuesday March 7, 2023 the Hornets will play against the Hancock Hawks at the Nest starting at 5:30. Thursday March 9, 2023 they will go up against the Forrest County Aggies at the Hive starting at 4:30.
