Athletic Update May 3-8th, 2021

Baseball

The Hornets Baseball Team advanced to the 2nd round of the MHSAA baseball playoffs. They defeated McComb 15-3 Saturday to win the series 2-1. They will now face the Stone County, Tomcats in round 2 starting Thursday, May 6th, at Stone County High School at 7:00 pm. Game 2 will be at home Friday, May the 7th, at 7:00 pm.

Rodeo

Our Poplarville rodeo team will take part in their final rodeo of the 2020-2021 school year, on May 7th, in Amite, Louisiana.

A Surprise Visit for Our Littlest Hornets!

Mrs. Heidi Harriel & Mrs Austin Smith’s Pre-K class received the surprise of a lifetime when Poplarville Hornets football star Ty Keys stopped by for a special visit! Ty learned that Mrs.
