Athletic Update Jan. 25-30
Soccer:
Congratulations to both PHS soccer teams for playing an amazing season and taking home multiple wins! Although the boys season has come to an end we would like to wish our girls good luck as they continue on to playoffs. The first round will be played at Sumrall on Tuesday, January 26th at 6:00pm.
Basketball:
Our varsity boys played January 22nd, with a resulting score of 36-39. Our PHS varsity boys team will have a makeup game Monday, January 25th, at home competing against Sumrall at 6:00 pm. The girls varsity team played against Green County last week on January 22nd. They came up short with an ending score of Poplarville-27, and Green county-42. They will play again this week against Long Beach on Tuesday the 26th for Varsity girls. Games will start at 5/6/7pm. Good luck to our basketball teams!
