Athletic Update Nov. 16-22

Football 

Our PHS football team came out victorious against South Pike last week during the second round of playoffs with a tremendous score of 27-6. On Friday, November 20th our Hornets will bring the heat to North Pike and compete in the third round of playoffs. If our boys bring home another win then they will compete in the state playoffs for the fourth time in a row! Come out and show your hornet pride in the stands!

PHS Basketball

PHS Basketball will take place at home in the PHS gymnasium tonight against Bay High. Girls will play at 6:00pm, and boys will start at 7:30pm tonight. On Friday, November 20th both teams will compete at  at another home game, this time against the Bay Tigers. Good luck to our PHS Basketball players. Tickets will be sold at the gate. Makes are required to be worn while in the gymnasium.

Soccer

On November 9th, our PHS boys soccer team tied (1-1) when competing against Petal. Our PHS girls soccer team obtained another victory against Picayune on November 16th, with a score of 2-0. Both the boys and girls varsity teams will be competing against Hattiesburg, on Thursday, November 19th. The girls start at 5:30 and the boys at 7:00. Encourage our hornet soccer team, by supporting them at the first home game of the season!
