Career Development Center Adds Teacher Academy Program

The Career Development Center has added Teacher Academy to the course options for the 2020-2021 school year.  The Teacher Academy program is a high school course designed to attract students to the field of education, to provide information and field experiences relevant to pursing a degree in education, and to prepare students for the rigors of a career in education so they will remain long-term teachers.  Mrs. Rebekah Mayfield is the instructor.

Students interested in enrolling in the Teacher Academy can contact Keri Smith, CTE Director, at keri_smith@poplarvilleschools.org, or Shelly Dement, CTE Counselor, at shelly.dement@poplarvilleschools.org, or contact the CDC office at 601.795.8343.
