District Health Fair held at MSP

healthOn October 17th, 2019 Poplarville School District staff had the opportunity to participate in the “Annual Staff Health Fair” held at the Middle School from 12-3.  Vendors set up in the gym and offered free services such as blood pressure checks, immunizations, manicures, massages, bone density screenings, glucose checks, posture screenings and paraffin wax treatments.  A plethora of information was also available to staff members in relation to handwashing, tobacco cessation, nutrition, exercise, early childhood, dental hygiene, eye health, mental health, physical health and graduate school.  Door prizes and free products were also provided. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand lotion, pens, cups, memo pads, bags, PRCC Wellness Center memberships and cupcake samples were enjoyed by all. : ) We are so thankful and appreciative to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to provide these services to our staff.
