PHS Student Achievement – Logan Santiago

Poplarville High School senior William Logan Santiago received nominations to the United States Service Academies from Senators Cindy Hyde-Smith and Roger Wicker and Congressman Steven Palazzo. Logan has received appointments to the United States Naval Academy, United States Air Force Academy, United States Coast Guard Academy, and a four year Naval ROTC Scholarship. Logan has not yet decided which Service Academy he will attend but plans on entering the Engineering or Medical Fields. Logan is a four year member of the Poplarville High School Soccer and Cross Country Teams. Logan received the rank of Eagle Scout (Boy Scouts of America’s Highest Honor) at the age of 13. He earned a 31 on his ACT, holds a 4.0 grade point average and is ranked in the top 5 of his class. Logan also participated in the 2018 American Legion Boys State Program at Ole Miss.
