Field Operations Team Staff of the Year

Field Operations (Maintenance Division) would like to acknowledge Mr. Scotty Dearman as our Staff Member of The Year. With over 21 years of loyal and unselfish service to our School District.

Scotty has shown a genuine desire to maintain and improve our facilities, campuses as well as the community within the Poplarville School District. Scotty is a lifelong member of the Poplarville community, a PHS graduate, and currently has two children in the district. He has also served as a volunteer for over 21 years to the athletics program helping with the down marker and chain poles at every home football game, and getting the football teams equipment and gear trailer back and forth to every away game. In my opinion, Scotty represents what our community and school district strive for trust, loyalty and a desire to make things and people better tomorrow than they were yesterday or today.
