The Poplarville High School boys varsity soccer team have had an amazing winning streak in these two weeks. So far they have beaten Harrison Central 2-1 in a hard fought game. When they faced Laurel it was a tough battle, but they pushed on to win 3-2. Sadly, our winning streak came to an end when we were defeated by Hancock to 3-2. One loss won’t stop us, though. There is another game versus Picayune today at 7pm. This will be a home game, and PHS students get in free!

The PHS girls varsity soccer team had two tournament games on November 10. The spirited and competitive team of girls took a win against Laurel with a serious score of 4-1. The girls played the second game that day against Northeast Jones with both teams giving their all. Neither team won nor lost but instead tied with a score of 1-1. On November 15, the girls fought their hardest against Hancock but sadly lost 4-0. However, that won’t stop this strong team!
Today, the girls will prove they still got it! They will be playing a home game against Picayune at 5:30. Be there! Show the girls you will be standing by them, cheering them on to victory. They want everyone to bring the noise and make it big. PHS students get in free!
