The Poplarville Hornets scored 50 1st half points and cruised to a 50-20 1st round playoff victory over the Lanier Bulldogs in the 1st round of the MHSAA Playoffs. The Hornets travel to Northeast Lauderdale Friday for a 2nd round matchup. The Trojans knocked off St. Stanislaus in their 1st round game. Poplarville is now 10-1 on the season.
