The staff of Poplarville School District and Pearl River Community College had the opportunity to participate in a health fair at the National Guard Armory on October 18th. Services were offered by PRCC Cosmetology, PRCC Wellness Center, PRCC Early Childhood Academy, Excel by 5, Pearl River Family Clinic, MSU Extension Service, Pine Belt Dermatology, PRCC Associate Degree Nursing, Poplarville School District Tobacco Nurses, Main Street Coffee, Poplarville Dental Clinic, William Carey University, Highland Community Hospital, Poplarville Eye Clinic, PRCC Dental Hygiene Technology and Walmart Pharmacy. Attendees were treated with complimentary mini manicures/paraffin wax treatments, skin cancer screenings, oral cancer screenings, tobacco cessation information, health and wellness information, Graduate education program information, blood pressure screenings, vision screenings, vaccinations and healthy food samples.
