PHS Football Week 7

The Hornets took a major step towards a third straight Region 7-4A title with a 31-14 victory at Greene County Friday night. A 3-0 defensive 1st half turned into a 4 touchdown 2nd half. Antonio Barnes provided the spark with 2 rushing touchdowns (53 and 19 yards) and a 3rd touchdown through the air (44 yards) to Canaan Ray. Poplarville, now 5-1 and 1-0 in region, is back home this week for Homecoming and the FCAHS Aggies. Kickoff is at 7pm. See the schedule of Homecoming Events below:

6:30pm – Homecoming Community Pep Rally (Pearl River County Courthouse)

Friday, October 5th
6:30pm – Homecoming Court Ceremony (PHS)
7:00pm – Homecoming Football Game (PHS)

Gameday Information
Home Side Parking
Free parking can be accessed through the student parking lot gate off of Hwy 53 in front of PHS
$5.00 parking and tailgating can be accessed through the Stinger Street gate off of Jacobs Avenue by tennis courts. Tailgating spots are still available. Contact PHS office for details.
Handicapped and Pass parking can be accessed through the Pete Jackson Drive gate off of Jacobs Avenue by the Softball Field.
Visitor parking can be accessed through the School Bus Circle gate off of Hwy 53.

Areas for parking open at 4:15pm.

General admission is $6.00. Gates open at 5:30pm.
The following passes will be honored for free admission: MHSAA State or District Pass, Student All Sport Pass (PHS Students only), Senior Citizen All Sport Pass, Touchdown Pass (reserved seating).
PHS has a “Must Pay To Re-Enter” policy.

Poplarville High School will be offering Pre-Sale tickets for all 2018 home football games. Tickets can be purchased at the High School Office Wednesday thru Friday, Noon – 2pm during home game weeks. Ticket price is $6.00.
