PTO Announces Teacher / Club Scholarships

PTO recently announced an opportunity to receive up to $250 each in teacher scholarships and up to $500 each in club/organization scholarships within the Poplarville School District.  Teachers were encouraged to submit a scholarship application outlining why their organization needed the funding and how they would use them to enhance student education. Teachers could receive up to $250 each depending on financial need and clubs or organizations could receive up to $500 each.  The PTO awards teacher scholarships each semester of the school year but this was the first time it was open to clubs and organizations within the district as well.  The next time to apply will be Fall of 2018.
