The PHS Green Machine competed in the 48th annual Gulf Coast Marching Band Festival in Gulfport, MS on Saturday, October 8th. Thirty one marching bands from south Mississippi performed for their state evaluation ratings at Milner Stadium. They were graded by selected judges on their overall routine, creativity, marching and sound balance, drum major, percussion, color guard and dance team.
We are proud to announce that our Green Machine earned an overall rating of a 1, obtaining a spot in the State Championship! 1 is the highest score available.
Our band, dance team and colorguard have only a few short weeks to prepare for the upcoming State Championship, which will be held in Clinton, Mississippi on October 29th! Our band makes us proud to be a Hornet!
