Poplarville Freshman, Janelle Johnson, took home the District Title for Division 7-4A in the 3200M and 1600M runs at McComb High School in early April.
Janelle traveled to Pass Christian last weekend to compete in Regionals. She placed 2nd in both events. She advances to South State to race this upcoming weekend.
If Janelle places in the top 4, she will advance to the State Championship next Friday, May 6.
