Hornets Sting Hawks

The Poplarville Hornets are on a 3 game winning streak after their 28-3 victory over the Hancock Hawks Friday night at The Brett Favre Field.  Poplarville’s defense was on fire with 10 sacks and 5 recovered fumbles.  Jesse Pernell led all rushers in the game with 117 yards on 16 carries and 4 touchdowns.

The Hornets have a bye-week this coming Friday and will resume October 2 when Greene County travels to Poplarville for Homecoming.
