The Board of Trustees of the Poplarville School District will accept SEALED BID PROPOSALS for CHROMEBOOKS, GOOGLE LICENSES. All proposals must be submitted to the Office of the Superintendent of Education of the Poplarville School District located at 302 South Julia Street, Poplarville, Mississippi 39470 up to and not later than 12:45 PM on July 6, 2015. Please mark “BID #07-1516CBK” on the exterior lower left hand corner of the sealed envelope. We received a copy of the opportunity with regards to Poplarville Special Municipal Separate School District, RFP ID: BID #071516CBK Chromebooks, Google Licenses. During our review we discovered the Samsung Chromebook model requested is End of Life and a new product has been announced to replace the model requested. The chart below reflects the model requested for the project along with the new model that is the replacement. We request the RFP be updated to reflect the current model.

I'm glad you are reviewing our RFP.
You will notice that you may submit up to three options which means that a bidder may send in 3 separate bids for different models/brands of chromebooks within their bid packet. Please refer to the EQUIPMENT & LICENSING SPECIFICATIONS section of the bid packet (
click here for bid packet information).
Our scoring matrix for this RFP will take into account end of life (EOL) of chromebooks of which bids are submitted.
We are hoping that bidders do take advantage of submitting more than one option in their bid packet.
Please consider the Samsung XE303 as a base unit for the purposes of this RFP.
