PHS Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

Thursday, February 3, three Seniors from  Poplarville High School signed national letters of intent to play football at the next level.

All District 1st team Wing Back and Safety, Anthony Martin, signed with Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Mississippi.

Anthony finished his senior year at Poplarville with 111 carries rushing for a total of 752 yards with 8 touchdowns, and 8 receptions for a total of 157 yards.

All District 1st Team Honorable Mention Offensive Tackle, Keith Delaune, also signed with Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Mississippi.

All District 1st Team Running Back, Malik Lucas, signed with Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi.  Malik was named All-State Team and  All Division MVP Team for Mississippi District 8-4A.  Malik was the recipient of Poplarville High School’s Most Valuable Offensive Player and the 2014 Ironman Award.

Malik finished his senior year at Poplarville with 177 carries rushing for a total of 1816 yards and 23 touchdowns.
