PUE Book Fair Announced

The PUE Book Fair will be held from September 29- October 3, 2014. Students will be able to shop during their library activity time. You are encouraged to send all money in a sealed envelope labeled with the student’s name and the purpose of the money.  Please make all checks payable to Poplarville Upper Elementary.

This year, one of our goals is to ensure as many children as possible receive books and have access to books. One of the ways we can do that is through the All for Books program. With your help, all of the money collected goes to purchasing more books for our school. Not only does your donation help our cause but Scholastic Book Fairs will match monetary donations raised with a donation of up to one million books to two non-profit organizations dedicated to helping children, families, and teachers acquire books and educational resources – Kids In Need Foundation and Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc.

For each $1 donated through October 10th, the student’s name will be entered into a drawing. The winner of the drawing will get to spend the day job shadowing the teacher of their favorite activity.
Friends of the PUE Library are invited to shop our online fair through October 10th.  Each person who makes a purchase from our website http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/pue  will be entered for a chance to win a $100 gift basket from the fair.
