Athletic Update 3/20-24/23

Baseball

On March 11th, the Hornets took on the Gulfport Admirals and left the game with a score of 2-12. The March 14th game against the Colombia Wildcats resulted in a 5-6 score. The Hornets replayed the Colombia Wildcats on March 16th and took the win with a victorious score of 11-2. On March 18th the Hornets played two games against McComb, winning both games. They won the first game with a 7-0 score and the second game with a 10-0 score.

The March 21st game will be held against the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies at the Forrest County Agricultural High School at 7:00 p.m. The Hornets will go head-to-head with the Aggies again on March 24th with the game taking place at the Hive at 7:00 p.m. Come cheer on your Hornets!

Softball

On March 6th, the Lady Hornets went up against George County and ended with a final score of 0-11. March 7th, we played Columbia and beat them with a winning score of 4-1. March 9th, we went up against Purvis and ended with a final score of 5-6. March 13th, there was a game we played against Hernando and ended with a final score of 3-8. On March 18th their were two games against D’iberville and Pass Christian. 

On Tuesday, March 21st the Lady Hornets will take on Purvis for a home game at 6:30 PM. Thursday, March 23rd, the Lady Hornets will be traveling to Brooklyn, MS to play Forrest County Agricultural at 6:30 PM.

Tennis

Tuesday March 7, 2023 the tennis team played against the Forrest County Aggies. Thursday March 9, 2023 the Hornets played Moss Point. This week Monday 23, 2023 the Hornets will play the Pass Christian Pirates at the Hive starting at 5pm. Tuesday March 23, 2023 against the Bay High Tigers at the Nest starting at 4pm. 

Archery

The Archery team will be traveling to Hattiesburg to attend the South State Qualifier for Archery on Thursday, March 30th. They’re scheduled to shoot at 9:00am. On March  23,2023 they will have a match against Picayune.
